PROTECTED IN THE WATERS // Lady Kathy Jackson | Isaiah 43:1-7
Every one of us knows what it feels like to stand in the rising waters of life. Waters of fear, rivers of pressure, floods of trouble. Yet God speaks a word through Isaiah to a people facing captivity, uncertainty, and overwhelming circumstances—and that same God speaks to us today:
“Fear not: for I have redeemed thee; I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
Before God ever addresses the waters, He addresses identity.
Before He talks about trouble, He talks about relationship.
Before He promises deliverance, He reminds us we already belong to Him.
The waters are not a sign of abandonment.
They are a stage for God’s protection.
You may be standing in rising waves right now—
waves of grief, waves of transition, waves of uncertainty, waves of spiritual warfare.
But hear the voice of the Lord:
“Fear not… You are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.”
You will not drown.
You will not be overwhelmed.
You will not be lost.
You will come out with a testimony, a new identity, and a deeper faith.
Because the God who created the waters controls the waters.
And if He is with you in them—
you are protected in them.
